It is more doable looking at that.

problem is i run nights on the first and second sat of the month
these pay my bills, they are also my 'night out' as i cant afford to go out otherwise..

Our first sat event this month was a bit of a washout, i was too ill to dj and the other guy matt had to do it all.

I'm loathe to leave it all to him for second month in a row

I really cant do that weekend, not if i'll be leaving it to him in oct as well.

Hmmm... I have 2 other non-CIA organisers interested, but really if me and Kermit are the only CIA organisers able to attend then I'm beginning to think we'll have to choose a different day...

I emailed this to Rich but will post it here for all .

I don't want to get too involved with Wotan from an organising POV . I'll pay attention, come and play and build any prop you want , however the man hours it's taken ot get things in place for CR have left me a bit knackered and I'd like to take a seat further back for the next game .

Given the reactions to the Nov game, I suspect at least two of us will want to have little involvement in that , and if I can take a rest with Wotan I'll be more up for throwing myself into NDay .

Dave, you were going to check with your missus about this trip?

Any news... note that there's just me and Ed in my car so far and no gadge, so probably room for James as well if he wants to come along!

Given that CR is "your" game, and Wotan is "mine", i couldnt agree more. You'll definately entitled to a rest after all that lot!

Unless you like trying to pitch a tent on a 40 degree hill, it'll be kipping *in* the tunnels....

Oooh-bloody-er!

Just reading 'Ten Days to D-Day' - interesting take on the build up and execution of D-Day based on the simultaneous lives of several real-life characters, one of which was a Wren who works... guess where? She complains about the steps and having to take two rests on the way up!
